Concert Review: Disturbed @ RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater 7/15/23 – Ridgefield, WA

Disturbed descended upon Ridgefield, WA with a full 18,000 capacity show at Rv Inn Style Amphitheater. They hit the ground running with the collective intensity of a band that knows how to get a crowd into gear with full force. They presented a strong 20 song set to an extremely appreciative and enthusiastic crowd. The band gathered the material for this tour from most of their studio catalogue including their renowned Genesis cover song Land of Confusion. The bands highly anticipated Take Back Your Life Tour is a world tour on a grand scale with amazing pyrotechnics and fluctuating moving trusts that would wave simultaneously to their hits.

Concert Review: Falling in Reverse @ Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena 7/3/2023 – Baltimore, MD

Falling in Reverse came to the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, MD on 7/3/2023. The band is currently on their “Popular Monstour” tour and the supporting bands depend on the date! This date brought Crown the Empire, Slaughter to Prevail, and Ice Nine Kills. I have been a fan of Ronnie Radke and Falling in a Reverse for years now and was excited to be able to capture their performance. I might have had a fanboy moment once or twice in the pit as I was snapping pictures.

Photo Flashback: Puscifer @ The Lyric 6/1/23 — Baltimore, MD

Puscifer are currently on tour and stopped to perform at The Lyric in Baltimore, MD on 6/1/2023. This was my first time seeing the band live. I must admit I was completely captivated by both the sound of the band and the live visuals that accompanied the music. Secret agents? Dancing aliens? Video vignettes? Check, check, and check. Bravo!

Photo Flashback: Greg Puciato @ Underground Arts 5/22/23 — Philadelphia, PA

The former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist, Greg Puciato, stopped at Underground Arts in Philly recently in support of his pair of solo albums, with the most recent being 2022’s Mirrorcell. The venue was packed and the anxiety was high. When Puciato hit the stage the crowd exploded. An extremely intense performance in an intimate, hard rock setting.

This was my first time covering a show for Hazy Eye Media and one I will not soon forget. I had a great time and look forward to seeing Greg Puciato again in the future. I have been a fan of Skinny Puppy since the early 90s, but this was my first time seeing them perform live. The Greatest Band on Earth, the mighty Tenacious D brought their 2022 tour to the TD Pavilion at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia recently. A steady rain couldn’t stop fans from filling the venue to capacity. The show was livestreamed on nugs.net to raise funds for Rock The Vote. Glad I was able to photograph this performance.

It was a soundboard show for the photographers, but well worth it for a fan of the band. The tour features Helmet and Evanescence as special guests.
