Underoath are currently on the first leg of their “They’re Only Chasing Safety 20th Anniversary Tour” and they stopped to perform at Rams Head Live! on 9/28/2024. The band has a rotation of supporting bands and at this stop they had Francis Doom and Static Dress. This concert was one to remember! It featured insane vocals, explosive energy, and non-stop nostalgia trips with each song.

Anyway, continue reading below for more photos of Underoath and my full review of the show. Story of the Year are currently on the second leg of their Page Avenue 20th anniversary tour and stopped to perform at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore, MD. They are touring till the end of January with support from Youth Fountain and We The Kings. I was very excited to cover this show because I have been a fan of Story of the Year since they opened for Linkin Park back in 2004 and they have been one of my favorites since then. The 20th anniversary show was a phenomenal evening consisting of belted ballads, entertaining stage presence, and non-stop energy!

Asking Alexandria (Photo by John Krebs)

Asking Alexandria stopped to perform at Rams Head Live! in Baltimore, MD on 9/7/2023. The band is currently on their “Psycho Thunder Tour” with support from Zero 9:36 and The Hu. One of the major sounds of my freshman year in college was Danny Worsnop screaming the words “Oh my God!” followed by heavy and insane guitar riffs. I have been a fan of Asking Alexandria for years and this was my first time seeing them perform live. This concert was an amazing spectacle and the crowd never stopped moving!

They Might Be Giants (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Alternative rock pioneers They Might Be Giants played for a sold out crowd at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD on 12/18/2022. Most of the dates on this tour were sold out, and for good reason. TMBG were celebrating the 40th Anniversary as a band, as well as the release of their 1990 album, Flood. This show honestly felt and sounded like a celebration.

If you were unable to see TMBG in 2022, check the Official TMBG Website for 2023 tour dates. Also be sure to check out TMBG newest album, BOOK. Continue reading below for more pics and my full review. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Amyl and the Sniffers (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Fortunately for me I was able to photograph Amyl and the Sniffers in Baltimore this past May. Holy shit. What an amazing show! Super intense performance. Australian punk rock mixed with super sweaty aerobics. It was hard keeping up with the band. This was the last show of their US tour and they played like champions. Bravo!

Anyway, in this photo flashback we’re viewing images from Amyl and the Sniffers’ performance at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD on 5/22/2022. Be sure to check the Official Amyl and the Sniffers Website for music, news, and upcoming tour dates. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Hazy Eye Music Media is proud to announce another interview in a series of interviews I’m currently conducting with some of my favorite concert photographers. I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone and have begun picking the brains of some phenomenal photographers. My interviews in this series focus on “local” concert photographers. That is photographers around DC, MD, and VA. The DMV as we call it.

Anyway, check it out! I, Andy Jillson, was fortunate enough to interview Brad Price. Brad is a talented up-and-coming concert photographer and has already covered some great musical artists. Brad loves music, live shows, and all types of photography; and he’s a member of the Hazy Eye Music Media team! Continue reading below for my full interview with Brad Price.
