The former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist, Greg Puciato, stopped at Underground Arts in Philly recently in support of his pair of solo albums, with the most recent being 2022’s Mirrorcell. The venue was packed and the anxiety was high. When Puciato hit the stage the crowd exploded. An extremely intense performance in an intimate, hard rock setting.

This was my first time covering a show for Hazy Eye Media and one I will not soon forget. I had a great time and look forward to seeing Greg Puciato again in the future. Greg Puciato is a man of many bands, and styles, from the metal of Killer Be Killed, to the Jimmy Jam influenced electro offering The Black Queen, his most recent work with Jerry Cantrell, and of course, the unbridled Dillinger Escape Plan, his solo offering is a bit more straightforward, with hints of his vast catalogue spread throughout. Don’t miss your chance to see this man live and in-your-face.

The Mars Volta tour will be making a stop in Philly on Tuesday October 27, 2022 and the tickets are selling fast. Fans of the band have been waiting over 10 years for the return of The Mars Volta. The US tour in support of their new, self-titled, album kicks-off later this week. This tour will be awesome. No doubt.

The Greatest Band on Earth, the mighty Tenacious D brought their 2022 tour to the TD Pavilion at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia recently. A steady rain couldn’t stop fans from filling the venue to capacity. The show was livestreamed on nugs.net to raise funds for Rock The Vote. Glad I was able to photograph this performance.

Dropkick Murphys played a high energy set at The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA earlier this week. The band were performing with fellow rockers Rancid on their Boston to Berkley II tour. I made the drive to Philly from Silver Spring, MD to cover this musical event, and I was not disappointed. The band performed a flawless set of their signature sounding tunes. Well worth the drive.

Modest Mouse played to a sold out crowd at The Met in Philadelphia, PA on 8/5/21. The band are currently on an extensive US summer and fall tour in support of their new album, The Golden Casket. This was my first time at The Met and my first time seeing Modest Mouse live since 1999. It felt amazing being in the photo pit for this show.
