The former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist, Greg Puciato, is doing his first tour in support of his pair of solo albums, with the most recent being 2022’s Mirrorcell. He will be stopping at Underground Arts in Philly on 5/22/2023. Tickets for his performance are available HERE. Be sure to check the Official Greg Puciato Website for music, videos, news, and tickets for all upcoming tour dates.

Greg Puciato is a man of many bands, and styles, from the metal of Killer Be Killed, to the Jimmy Jam influenced electro offering The Black Queen, his most recent work with Jerry Cantrell, and of course, the unbridled Dillinger Escape Plan, his solo offering is a bit more straightforward, with hints of his vast catalogue spread throughout. Don’t miss your chance to see this man live and in-your-face.

Ministry and the beloved Uncle Al stopped to perform at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on 5/3/2023. The band are currently on tour in the US with supporting acts Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly. Of course, being a long-time fan of Ministry, I was there in the photo pit losing my mind. I did my best to keep my composure and take some decent photos while rocking out to one of my favorite bands. I had a blast and my photos turned out well. Ministry sounded tight as ever and the setlist was top notch. Mission accomplished.

Anyway, continue reading below for more photos of Ministry and my full review of the show. Be sure to check out the Official Ministry Website for music, videos, news, and tickets for all upcoming tour dates. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Skinny Puppy recently performed at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD and I was there to capture some action. I have been a fan of Skinny Puppy since the early 90s, but this was my first time seeing them perform live. The band are on their final tour so figured I would check them out while I still had the chance.

Train (Photo by Jianna Brown)

Train kicked off the AM Gold Tour at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on June 11, 2022. Seconds after Train took the stage, excitement emerged throughout the crowd as confetti shot up from just before the stage; and the song “Meet Virginia” began. Amazing.

In the middle of the set, Train’s lead singer Pat Monahan ran backstage and quickly put on a “Meet Virginia” t-shirt. He ran to each band member with a marker and had them sign the t-shirt. Monahan threw about a dozen t-shirts off the stage into the crowd and lastly threw the autographed shirt. What a night! Continue reading below for more pics and my full review. Fortunately for me I was able to photograph Tool at Capital One Arena in DC recently. Whoa. What an amazing show! Both musically and visually stunning. Psychedelic, progressive hard rock at its finest. A bit challenging for a photographer, but so much nervous excitement. I had not seen Tool since the late 90s. Completely blew my mind.

Tool are still touring the US in support of their fifth studio album, Fear Inoculum. Check the Official Tool Website for remaining tour dates and tickets. Continue reading below for more photos of their performance in DC. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Ghost (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Ghost, Sweden’s hardest-rocking band, brought their unique sound and style to the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania earlier this week. I was lucky enough to catch the band while touring across North America with co-headliners Volbeat. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect walking into the photo pit for Ghost’s performance, and I must admit I was somewhat nervous, but my expectations were far exceeded.

Anyway, this is a must-see musical event for all fans of hard rock and heavy metal. Tickets for remaining tour dates are available HERE. Also be sure to check the Official Ghost Website for music, videos, news, and all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for my full concert review.
