Dylan Scott (Photo by Jianna Brown)

Country music artist Dylan Scott headlined radio station Big Frog 104’s FrogFest33 at Herkimer County Fairgrounds in Frankfort, NY on June 18, 2022. Curtis Lumber presented FrogFest33. Although the day was rainy, the bad weather cleared up before the performance of multi-platinum singer, Dylan Scott.

At the beginning of Dylan Scott’s set, he ran out on stage with nothing but energy. He sang great and the band played great. The audience danced and sang along with his entire setlist, they were “Hooked”! Continue reading below for more pics and my full review. All images copyright and courtesy of Jianna Brown.

Train (Photo by Jianna Brown)

Train kicked off the AM Gold Tour at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center on June 11, 2022. Seconds after Train took the stage, excitement emerged throughout the crowd as confetti shot up from just before the stage; and the song “Meet Virginia” began. Amazing.

In the middle of the set, Train’s lead singer Pat Monahan ran backstage and quickly put on a “Meet Virginia” t-shirt. He ran to each band member with a marker and had them sign the t-shirt. Monahan threw about a dozen t-shirts off the stage into the crowd and lastly threw the autographed shirt. What a night! Continue reading below for more pics and my full review. Animals As Leaders (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Animals As Leaders performed for a rabid sold out crowd at Soundstage in Baltimore’s inner harbor on 4/13/2022. This was a highly-anticipated show. Metalheads from DC, MD, VA (the DMV) and beyond filled the venue to its maximum capacity. The band were on tour in support of their 2022 album, Parrhesia, but the tour has now come to an end.

I was fortunate to be at this show, and too be the only photographer in the photo pit. What a treat! Buddy Guy recently performed at Capital One Hall with special guest Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and I was there to document my first show in this new venue. The one-time-only show took place in Tysons Corner, Virginia on 4/2/2022. Fortunately, I was approved for a photo pass and received a warm welcome upon arrival. I hope to be back soon.

Anyway, this concert was truly a historical music event. Be sure to check the Official Buddy Guy Website & Kingfish Website for music, news, merch, and tickets for all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for my full review. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Judas Priest and the Metal God himself Rob Halford fired up fans with a set of classic heavy metal songs in Oxon Hill, Maryland this past week. The “50 Years of Metal” North American tour was postponed in 2021, but the band are back on the road and showing no signs of age. Top notch musicians playing unapologetic heavy metal music.
