20 — Stephens City, VA

Bumpin Uglies performed in Stephens City, VA at The Family Drive-In on October 18, 2020 and I was there documenting some of the action. This was my third drive-in concert of the season and my first time attempting to take promo shots for a band.

Bumpin Uglies brought along fellow East Coasters Higher Education to kick off the show and both bands were obviously enjoying being back on stage again. Grandmaster Flash performed for a sold out crowd at U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC on February 8, 2020 — and Hazy Eye Music Media contributors were there to check it out. Flash’s interactive set (which includes Flash, his turntables, laptop, and a projection screen) rocked U Street for 3 solid hours, and the man never missed a beat.

Rap and hip-hop legends Snoop Dogg & Wu-Tang Clan have joined forces for a celebration of two of the most unique and influential albums of all-time; of course, I’m referring to Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle and Wu-Tang Clan’s Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
