Modest Mouse played to a sold out crowd at The Met in Philadelphia, PA on 8/5/21. The band are currently on an extensive US summer and fall tour in support of their new album, The Golden Casket. This was my first time at The Met and my first time seeing Modest Mouse live since 1999. It felt amazing being in the photo pit for this show.

Photo Flashback: Goose @ Frederick Fairgrounds 5/4/21 — Frederick, MD

Goose and their musical gaggle landed at the Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, MD once again this year. Showtime At The Drive-In has been hosting drive-in concert events at the fairgrounds and Goose remain the best act that has performed at the fairgrounds thus far. This was my second time seeing the band live. They did not disappoint.

Dark Star Orchestra played to a sold out crowd of psychedelic ghouls and goblins at the Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, MD on October 31, 2020 and I was masked-up in the photo pit to capture some of this unusual event. All Good Presents and Showtime At The Drive-In hosted drive-in concert events at the fairgrounds last fall and DSO rose the Dead on Halloween night 2020. There was music, magic, mischief, and mayhem. What more could you want?!?

Concert Review: Goose @ Frederick Fairgrounds 10/19/20 — Frederick, MD

Goose and their musical gaggle landed at the Frederick Fairgrounds in Frederick, MD on October 19, 2020 and sold the place out. Showtime At The Drive-In has been hosting drive-in concert events at the fairgrounds and Goose have been the best act yet. This was my introduction to the band and honestly, I was blown away by their musical performance and uplifting vibes. Goose are definitely not your average “jam band” or “indie band.”

Concert Review: GWAR @ The Diamond “Drive-In” 10/10/20 — Richmond, VA

Holy shit! GWAR played their first drive-in concert in the parking lot of The Diamond in Richmond, VA on 10/10/20, and I was fortunate enough to be there for my first parking lot show as well. The band’s performance was top notch and included all the horrific thrills and chills you would expect from these intergalactic metal gods — blood, guts, and senseless rock ‘n’ roll obscenity. I loved every second of it.

Concert Review: Nelly “Live From The Drive In” @ Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre 7/12/20 — St. Louis, MO

This weekend, Live Nation launched their first ever U.S. drive-in concert series – Live From The Drive In – marking a highly anticipated return to live, in person events in a safe and socially distanced manner. Nelly, Darius Rucker, Jon Pardi, El Monstero, and Yacht Rock Revue kicked off the series with performances across Nashville, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Country superstar Brad Paisley headlined the Live Nation U.S. drive-in concert series and all three stops were sold out; however, it was a particularly epic night for Nelly and St. Louis hip-hop fans — as Nelly celebrated the 20th anniversary of his album Country Grammar on Sunday at Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre.

Concert Review: Brad Paisley “Live From The Drive In” Concert Series (Nashville, St. Louis, Indianapolis)

Country superstar Brad Paisley headlined the Live Nation U.S. drive-in concert series and sold-out all three stops. The 90 minute concert was filled with career hits such as “Crushin’ It,” “Mud on the Tires,” “American Saturday Night,” “Then,” I’m Still A Guy,” “Ticks,” as well as his current single and fan favorite, “No I In Beer.” Paisley also surprised concert-goers with a special video duet with Carrie Underwood for their smash hit “Remind Me” and an opening comedy set from Kevin Nealon ahead of his performance in Nashville.Continue Reading below for more photos and video recaps of Brad Paisley’s performances from the Live Nation “Live From The Drive In” concert series. Grandmaster Flash performed for a sold out crowd at U Street Music Hall in Washington, DC on February 8, 2020 — and Hazy Eye Music Media contributors were there to check it out. Flash’s interactive set (which includes Flash, his turntables, laptop, and a projection screen) rocked U Street for 3 solid hours, and the man never missed a beat.
