Fall Out Boy are currently on their So Much For (2our) Dust tour with support from Jimmy Eat World and they stopped to perform at CFG Bank Arena on 3/20/2024. At this particular stop, they had support from Games We Play and Hot Mulligan. Fall Out Boy are an insane band to see live and they have a phenomenal stage production. Between fireworks, a flame thrower bass guitar, and a floating dog head, it was definitely a night to remember!
Anyway, continue reading below for more photos of Fall Out Boy and my full review of the show. Be sure to check out Fall Out Boy’s Website for music, videos, news, and tickets for all upcoming tour dates. All images copyright and courtesy of John Krebs.
Starting off with a bang, (quite literally) fireworks exploded as Fall Out Boy performed “Love From The Other Side.” With flares and rockets soaring, the entire crowd burst with cheers and sung along to every word! Being up close and personal was an extraordinary experience. Patrick Stump, Fall Out Boy’s lead singer, sounded amazing and the energy he brought was exceptional!
Fall Out Boy showed no signs of slowing down. After “Love From The Other Side,” the stage ignited on fire as they performed “The Phoenix.” Fire was shooting from all directions and Pete Wentz, the bassist, added to the flames with his bass guitar with a flamethrower attached. Never in my life have I seen such a thing, and I was left in awe. After “The Phoenix” they went right into “Sugar, We’re Goin Down” and I do not think there was anyone in the crowd, myself included, not singing along.
The rest of the night included hit after hit including “Uma Thurman,” “Dance, Dance,” “Thnks fr the Mmrs,” and “My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up).” The 28 song setlist also included some amazing covers of Queen’s “Don’t Stop Me Now” and Blur’s “Song 2.” Every song Fall Out Boy played had the crowd amped up and the energy that moved through the crowd was infectious! The production of the entire night included a floating dog head, Stump performing on a grand piano, and the ever famous Magic 8 Ball segment that had them perform “Miss Missing You.”
If you ever have the chance to catch Fall Out Boy, do not even hesitate. They have a phenomenal production to go along with their certified hits that make it a wonderful spectacle!
