The Devil Wears Prada stopped to perform at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on 9/27/2023. The band is currently on their “Metalcore Dropouts” tour with Landmvrks, Counterparts, and Fit For A King. Earlier this year I photographed TDWP as an opener for August Burns Red, but it was amazing to see them as the headliner! They are an amazing band with an extensive catalogue of absolute headbangers.

The Devil Wears Prada has always been a band at the top of my “On Repeat” playlist because their songs encompass every mood known to man and they pretty much have a song for every occasion. Seeing them as the headliner was definitely the crescendo of the night.

Some of the major highlights of the setlist included, “Watchtower,” “Danger: Wildman,” “Chemical,” and “Dez Moines.” Their 12 song setlist had something for all fans to enjoy. The energy the band brings to each song is intoxicating as the crowd is there for every scream and growl coming from Mike Hranica. Not to be forgotten, guitarist Jeremy DePoyster does his fair share of crowd engagement that is always a spectacle.

If you ever have the chance to watch The Devil Wears Prada perform, I highly encourage you to seek them out at one of their next stops. They are an amazing band to witness live as all six members work cohesively to create an excellent experience. Hopefully they are coming to a city near you!
