Barenaked Ladies performed their 7th anniversary “Last Summer On Earth Tour” at The Anthem in Washington, DC on July 5th. The band are currently on tour with Del Amitri and Five for Fighting. While in the photo pit, it was fun to witness the energy this band gives off and hear the crowd go wild behind me. This was a show to see!

Barenaked Ladies have always been that band to me that you sit outside, crack open a beer, and listen to the tunes. The crowd definitely was here for the tunes and the drinks! It was fun to watch the banter between Ed Robertson, Jim Creeggan, Tyler Stewart, and Kevin Hearn. They are just friends who are playing music and having the most fun doing it.

Barenaked Ladies’ setlist consisted of 20 absolute bangers from all over their discography. While covering the show, some of my personal favorites they played were “It’s All Been Done”, “Big Back Yard”, “Lookin’ Up”, and of course “One Week.” This setlist had songs for everyone!

This show was an absolute blast to cover. I couldn’t help but move and jam in the pit while capturing these images. I highly recommend going to see this show! New and old fans alike will have zero complaints about seeing them. I hope to catch them again in the future! They are touring through the month of July. Don’t miss out!
