The Infamous Stringdusters played three sold out shows in a row at B Chord Brewing in Round Hill, VA last weekend. I was there covering their performances on Friday (4/16) and Saturday (4/17). These were the Stringdusters’ first shows in over a year. The band and crowd alike were overjoyed and full of positive energy. A good time was had by all.
Anyway, in this photo flashback we’re taking a glimpse into the world of post-COVID concerts. Be sure to check out the Official Infamous Stringdusters Website for music, videos, merch, and upcoming shows. For those unfamiliar with The Infamous Stringdusters, they are a GRAMMY® Award-winning quintet consisting of; Andy Falco [guitar], Chris Pandolfi [banjo], Andy Hall [dobro], Jeremy Garrett [fiddle], and Travis Book [double bass]. They have musical influences that truly run the gamut, but their common denominator is certainly bluegrass; the sound that has in essence defined the course of their career.
The Infamous Stringdusters stand out as the rare group who can team up with contemporary artists on late night television one night and headline the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre or perform alongside The Grateful Dead’s Phil Lesh the next. The band have also recently emerged as proprietors behind their newly found independent record label, Americana Vibes.
I highly suggest catching this band live when possible. They certainly do not disappoint as a live act. Below are more shots from The Infamous Stringdusters’ performances at B Chord Brewing in Round Hill, VA on 4/16 & 4/17/2021. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson/Hazy Eye Media.
