Andy Frasco & The U.N. will be playing at DC’s historic 9:30 Club on February 13, 2020 — and I, Andy Jillson, will be there to document the musical madness. The band’s sound has been described as “feel good blues-rock fueled by reckless abandonment and a disregard for the rules, and witty lyrics to back it all up.” The band’s live performances have been described as a “boisterous blend of harmonic funk and jazzy influences, all topped with boundless energy.”
Tickets for Andy Frasco & The U.N.’s show at the 9:30 Club in DC can be purchased HERE.
If you don’t already know, Andy Frasco & The U.N. are an American blues rock band formed in Los Angeles, California in 2007. The band consists of Andrew Frasco (lead vocals, keys), Ernie Chang (saxophone), Shawn Eckels (guitar, vocals), and a consistently rotating and evolving cast of additional band members. I strongly advise buying yourself a couple tickets to the show at the 9:30 Club in DC (take a friend!). These shows are so much fun!
Be sure to check Andy Frasco & The U.N.’s Official Website for all remaining tour dates and other info about the band. They’re looking forward to seeing all their friends in DC and I’m looking forward to the music and friendly crowd interaction.
