God Mother was formed in 2012 by Michael Dahlström (drums), Daniel Noring (bass), and Jonatan Lindgren (guitar). The three musicians wanted to start a band that focused on intensity, aggressiveness, and up-close and personal live performances. God Mother draw much influence from hardcore, grindcore, and heavy/sludge metal, but definitely posses their own unique sound and style.
The band released their first EP Imitation in 2013 with drummer Michael Dahlström on vocal duty. Later in 2013, Sebastian Campbell joined the band as the new lead singer and God Mother have been kicking ass since. Be sure to check the Official God Mother Website for all upcoming tour dates, merch, and other news and info about the band.
