Each night will celebrate 30+ years of The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste as well as the recent release of Ministry’s 15th studio album, Moral Hygiene. Fortunately for me I was able to photograph Tool at Capital One Arena in DC recently. Whoa. What an amazing show! Both musically and visually stunning. Psychedelic, progressive hard rock at its finest. A bit challenging for a photographer, but so much nervous excitement. I had not seen Tool since the late 90s. Completely blew my mind.

Tool are still touring the US in support of their fifth studio album, Fear Inoculum. Check the Official Tool Website for remaining tour dates and tickets. Continue reading below for more photos of their performance in DC. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Death metal icons Cannibal Corpse recently kicked off their long-awaited headlining tour of the states and stopped at Baltimore Soundstage this past weekend. Of course, I had to check them out. I couldn’t help myself!

One word basically sums up this show…brutal. Cannibal Corpse is a must-see live act for fans of extreme hard rock and heavy metal. The band sold out Soundstage and are selling out other dates as well. Be sure to check the Official Cannibal Corpse Website for music, news, merch, and tickets for all upcoming tour dates. Ghost (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Ghost, Sweden’s hardest-rocking band, brought their unique sound and style to the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania earlier this week. I was lucky enough to catch the band while touring across North America with co-headliners Volbeat. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect walking into the photo pit for Ghost’s performance, and I must admit I was somewhat nervous, but my expectations were far exceeded.

Anyway, this is a must-see musical event for all fans of hard rock and heavy metal. Tickets for remaining tour dates are available HERE. Also be sure to check the Official Ghost Website for music, videos, news, and all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for my full concert review. Acclaimed singer-songwriter, and frontman of The Revivalists, David Shaw played his first ever solo show in DC on 12/18/21. Union Stage was the perfect set and setting for Shaw to showcase the raw poetry and storytelling within his debut solo work. This was a rare treat in an intimate musical setting.

Anyway, be sure to check the Official David Shaw Website for music, videos, merchandise, news, and all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for live photos from the performance. All images copyright and courtesy of Zach Brien.

Jay Wheeler, a Puerto Rican singer and Latin Grammy nominee, played to a sold out crowd at the SF Masonic in San Francisco, CA on 12/4/2021. Jay Wheeler is currently on his 2021-2022 LA FOZ FAVORITA tour in the US. His performance at The Masonic electrified the crowd and filled the venue with the sound of screaming fans. Wheeler’s energy could be felt in every corner during the entire show.

Tickets for the remaining shows on his tour can be found here. Also be sure to check out the Official Jay Wheeler Website for music, videos, news, and all tour dates. Human Impact

Human Impact will be performing at Metro Gallery in Baltimore on 11/27/2021. Fuck yeah!!! This is the bands first tour and the anticipation is wonderfully nauseating. They are referred to as a “supergroup” for a damn good reason. The group is comprised of ex-Unsane, Swans, and Cop Shoot Cop members. Whoa!

Anyway, tickets for their show at Metro Gallery are available HERE. Also be sure to check out Human Impact’s bandcamp page. Continue reading below for more information.
