Ministry Tour 1
The Industrial Strength Tour

Ministry have finally hit the road and are touring across the states w/ support from Melvins and Corrosion of Conformity. The Industrial Strength Tour was postponed two years in a row due to COVID; however, the tour is now in full-swing. Praise the LARD! Tickets can be purchased HERE.

Each night will celebrate 30+ years of The Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Taste as well as the recent release of Ministry’s 15th studio album, Moral Hygiene. Thankfully the tour stops at The Ritz in Raleigh, North Carolina on 3/18/22. This is literally a dream show for me. I’m sick with excitement. Get up…get on your feet!!!

Chris Connelly

Hazy Eye Music Media is proud to announce the second interview in a series of interviews I’m currently conducting with some of my favorite artists. I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone and have begun picking the brains of some phenomenal musicians. This time I, Andy Jillson, was fortunate enough to interview Chris Connelly. Chris Connelly is a Scottish-born musician and author who is widely known for his work with Ministry, Revolting Cocks, Pigface, and a other highly influence electro-industrial bands during the mid 1980’s and early 1990’s. He has since established himself as respected solo artist and singer-songwriter. To this day, Connelly continues to write new material and has released several poignant solo albums.

In 2008, Connelly published a memoir of his early years in the music industry titled, Concrete, Bulletproof, Invisible, and Fried: My Life As A Revolting Cock. The book is “superbly written, funny, irreverent, and a downright scary memoir” at times. I highly suggest you buy the book and take the trip. Chris Connelly is a unique artist with an interesting career/life. I have been listening to his music since I was about 13. Anyway, check it out!

Ministry performed at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania on November 6, 2019 — and I, Andy Jillson, was there losing my shit and rocking out in the photo pit with one of my all-time favorite artists. Holy shit! Ministry played a classic set of songs from their late 80’s and early 90’s catalog. This was a dream show for me. Continue reading below for more photos from the show. For the first Hazy Eye Music Media “Photo Flashback” we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane with Ministry. Whoa. Being a fan of Ministry, and most Al Jourgensen side projects since my teens, this is a show I will not soon forget. I was granted a photo pass and permission to photograph one of my childhood musical heroes. Hard to forget that. It only took about 3 or 4 years of requesting photo passes. Hahahahaha! I can still recall the feeling of pure bliss and redemption I experienced during my time in the photo pit. Continue reading below for full concert review.
