The Metal Tour Of The Year made a stop in Auburn, WA at White River Amphitheatre and literally set the place on fire. Hot damn! This must-see tour is co-headlined by Megadeth and Lamb of God, but the metal insanity doesn’t stop there. The two metal giants are joined by special guests Trivium and Hatebreed. What a lineup!

Anyway, tickets and VIP packages for the tour can be purchased at metaltouroftheyear.com. Also be sure to check out the Official Megadeth Website & Official Lamb of God Website for music, news videos, merch, and all upcoming tour dates. Dropkick Murphys (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Dropkick Murphys played a high energy set at The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA earlier this week. The band were performing with fellow rockers Rancid on their Boston to Berkley II tour. I made the drive to Philly from Silver Spring, MD to cover this musical event, and I was not disappointed. The band performed a flawless set of their signature sounding tunes. Well worth the drive.

Anyway, Dropkick Murphys are still on a co-headlining tour with Rancid. Tickets for the Boston to Berkley II tour can be purchased at www.DropkickMurphys.com or www.RancidRancid.com. Anyway, tickets for Primus’ “A Farewell to Kings Tour” can be purchased at primusville.com/#tour. The Hella Mega Tour featuring Green Day and Weezer made a stop in DC on 8/8/2021. I was fortunate enough to be in the photo pit for this one. This is my biggest show to date. Wow…just wow. Surreal is an understatement. I was only allowed in the photo pit for a couple songs, but I made the most of my time. I had a freakin’ blast!

Anyway, tickets for the Hella Mega Tour can be purchased at hellamegatour.com. Japanese Breakfast (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Japanese Breakfast played for a sold out crowd at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD last week. This was the first performance of their 2021 tour, and one I will remember for years to come. The venue was extremely hot and packed tightly; however, the crowd loved every second of it. I was personally so caught up in the musical excitement that three songs in the photo pit went by in a blink. Amazing performance. Amazing artist. Enough said.

Anyone who has a chance should give Japanese Breakfast a listen and buy a ticket to one of the shows. Tickets are on sale now and available for purchase at japanesebreakfast.rocks/tour. Continue reading below for more photos information. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

The Disco Biscuits (Photo by Andy Jillson)

The Disco Biscuits played for sold out lot of overzealous music fans on opening night at the Frederick Fairgrounds this year. The band actually sold out two nights at the fairgrounds, but I was there covering their “drive-in” performance on April 23, 2021. It was a beautiful evening for an outdoor concert, and The Disco Biscuits played two full-sets. This was a great way to kick off the fairgrounds’ 2021 season.

Anyway, in this photo flashback we’re taking a glimpse into the world of post-COVID concerts. Be sure to check out the Official Disco Biscuits Website for music, videos, merch, and upcoming shows. The Infamous Stringdusters played three sold out shows in a row at B Chord Brewing in Round Hill, VA last weekend. I was there covering their performances on Friday (4/16) and Saturday (4/17). These were the Stringdusters’ first shows in over a year. The band and crowd alike were overjoyed and full of positive energy. A good time was had by all.

Anyway, in this photo flashback we’re taking a glimpse into the world of post-COVID concerts. Be sure to check out the Official Infamous Stringdusters Website for music, videos, merch, and upcoming shows.
