Max

Max & Iggor Cavalera have finally brought their tour of classic Sepultura material to the US, and will be playing at XL Live in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania on Thursday (6/2/22). The “Return: Beneath Arise” tour finds the brothers playing material from 1989’s Beneath the Remains and 1991’s Arise. Tickets for the tour are available HERE.

The original founding members of influential RIAA Gold-Certified Brazilian heavy metal band Sepultura, Max & Iggor Cavalera are celebrating legendary albums Beneath the Remains and Arise by performing a hybrid set of songs exclusively from both albums. They did it in South America in 2018 and Europe in 2019…now it’s our turn!

Ghost (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Ghost, Sweden’s hardest-rocking band, brought their unique sound and style to the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania earlier this week. I was lucky enough to catch the band while touring across North America with co-headliners Volbeat. I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect walking into the photo pit for Ghost’s performance, and I must admit I was somewhat nervous, but my expectations were far exceeded.

Anyway, this is a must-see musical event for all fans of hard rock and heavy metal. Tickets for remaining tour dates are available HERE. Also be sure to check the Official Ghost Website for music, videos, news, and all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for my full concert review. Dropkick Murphys (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Dropkick Murphys played a high energy set at The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA earlier this week. The band were performing with fellow rockers Rancid on their Boston to Berkley II tour. I made the drive to Philly from Silver Spring, MD to cover this musical event, and I was not disappointed. The band performed a flawless set of their signature sounding tunes. Well worth the drive.

Anyway, Dropkick Murphys are still on a co-headlining tour with Rancid. Tickets for the Boston to Berkley II tour can be purchased at www.DropkickMurphys.com or www.RancidRancid.com. Theo Katzman performed for a sold out crowd at The Foundry in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 19, 2020 — and I, Jordan August, was there in the intimate venue jamming along with all the other obsessed Katzman fans. The Jesus Lizard @ Union Transfer (Photo by Andy Jillson)

The Jesus Lizard performed for a rabid crowd at Union Transfer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on December 30, 2019 — I, Andy Jillson, was there having a rock ‘n’ roll catharsis. This was my fourth time seeing The Jesus Lizard live, but it was undoubtedly one of the most memorable. David Yow captivated the audience, the band punished their instruments, and we all loved every second of it.
