2023 – Lancaster, PA

August Burns Red finished their Rescue & Restore 10 year anniversary tour with their annual Christmas Burns Red festival, held in their hometown of Lancaster, PA. Christmas Burns Red is a two day show with different bands and setlists each night! I was able to catch night two of this event and it was definitely an astonishing finale. August Burns Red had support from Kaonashi, Signs of the Swarm, Galactic Empire, Kublai Khan TX, and Between the Buried and Me. Between catchy riffs, brutal growls, mic spinning, and over 3000 people jumping to “White Washed,” it was definitely a night to remember!

Concert Review: The Devil Wears Prada @ The Fillmore 9/27/2023 – Silver Spring, MD

The Devil Wears Prada stopped to perform at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on 9/27/2023. The band is currently on their “Metalcore Dropouts” tour with Landmvrks, Counterparts, and Fit For A King. Earlier this year I photographed TDWP as an opener for August Burns Red, but it was amazing to see them as the headliner! They are an amazing band with an extensive catalogue of absolute headbangers.

Concert Review: Parkway Drive @ Jacobs Pavilion 9/22/2023 – Cleveland, OH

Parkway Drive are currently on their “Monsters of OZ” tour with support from Make Them Suffer, Northlane, and The Amity Affliction. This monstrous tour stopped to perform at Jacobs Pavilion in Cleveland, OH on 9/22/2023. Parkway Drive has a special place in my heart because they were the band I discovered in high school and they opened the doors for me into heavier music. When I heard the song “Flesh, Bone, and Weakness” I was not prepared for double bass pedal intro and I’ve been hooked ever since. Being able to photograph Parkway Drive has been a dream of mine and what originally prompted me to become a concert photographer and I am extremely happy with how these photos turned out!

Parkway Drive is coming to the United States this September, celebrating their 20th anniversary as a band, with their “Monsters of OZ” tour. This tour features an all Australian line up with Make Them Suffer, Northlane, and The Amity Affliction. Parkway Drive is stopping in Cleveland, OH on September 22nd. They are an amazing band to catch live and this tour will feature their pyro set up! Between the flames, soaring riffs, and hard hitting breakdowns, this is a show you will not want to miss! Concert Review: Blessthefall @ Baltimore Soundstage 8/20/2023 – Baltimore, MD

Blessthefall stopped to perform at Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, MD on 8/20/2023. The band is currently on tour with Dragged Under, Kingdom of Giants, and Caskets. I have been a fan of Blessthefall since summer of 2013, when I saw them on Warped Tour. They are the band that I have seen the most out of all the concerts I’ve been to and every time has been better than the last. I was definitely fanboying out in the pit as I am as close to my favorite band as possible. What is even better, is they are playing their album “Hollow Bodies” cover to cover, which is my favorite album. This concert was chaotic, hot, sweaty, and forever memorable!

Concert Review: Underoath @ Pier 6 Pavilion 7-29-2023 – Baltimore, MD

Underoath are currently on tour with The Ghost Inside, We Came as Romans, and Better Lovers, and performed July 29th at Pier 6 Pavilion, in Baltimore, MD. Fronted by Spencer Chamberlain, this Metalcore band put on an energetic show that made the crowd go wild!

Concert Review: Falling in Reverse @ Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena 7/3/2023 – Baltimore, MD

Falling in Reverse came to the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, MD on 7/3/2023. The band is currently on their “Popular Monstour” tour and the supporting bands depend on the date! This date brought Crown the Empire, Slaughter to Prevail, and Ice Nine Kills. I have been a fan of Ronnie Radke and Falling in a Reverse for years now and was excited to be able to capture their performance. I might have had a fanboy moment once or twice in the pit as I was snapping pictures.

Photo Flashback: August Burns Red @ The National 5/6/23 – Richmond, VA

I have seen August Burns Red multiple times, and they never disappoint. The energy Jake Luhrs creates while on stage makes the entire crowd bounce. Having seen them before, I knew he likes to swing the microphone around. I waited for the shot and it looked as if he was aiming right for me! Great show.

Daughters stopped at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on December 18, 2019 and I was there rocking out with the band for my third time in the last two years. The venue wasn’t sold out, but it was packed tightly. The photo pit was full, the crowd was frantic, and Daughters fucking killed it.
