Falling in Reverse came to the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, MD on 7/3/2023. The band is currently on their “Popular Monstour” tour and the supporting bands depend on the date! This date brought Crown the Empire, Slaughter to Prevail, and Ice Nine Kills. I have been a fan of Ronnie Radke and Falling in a Reverse for years now and was excited to be able to capture their performance. I might have had a fanboy moment once or twice in the pit as I was snapping pictures.

Puscifer are currently on tour and stopped to perform at The Lyric in Baltimore, MD on 6/1/2023. This was my first time seeing the band live. I must admit I was completely captivated by both the sound of the band and the live visuals that accompanied the music. Secret agents? Dancing aliens? Video vignettes? Check, check, and check. Bravo!

After a 20-year hiatus, Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade has announced its long-awaited return with the massive, 41-date Summer of Green Tour 2023, which will mark the band’s first appearances since summer 2003. Tickets for the Frog Brigade’s performance at The Lyric in Baltimore on 6/22 can be purchased HERE.

Photo Flashback: Greg Puciato @ Underground Arts 5/22/23 — Philadelphia, PA

The former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist, Greg Puciato, stopped at Underground Arts in Philly recently in support of his pair of solo albums, with the most recent being 2022’s Mirrorcell. The venue was packed and the anxiety was high. When Puciato hit the stage the crowd exploded. An extremely intense performance in an intimate, hard rock setting.

This was my first time covering a show for Hazy Eye Media and one I will not soon forget. I had a great time and look forward to seeing Greg Puciato again in the future. Photo Flashback: Citizen Cope @ 9:30 Club 5/10/23 — Washington, DC

In this Hazy Eye Media photo flashback we’re taking a trip down memory lane with Citizen Cope at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on 5/10/2023. This was a solo acoustic performance by the DC native and one of his most intimate. He recently announced that his latest album, The Victory March, will be dropping this summer. The album has contributions from musicians in The Roots and Paul McCartney’s backing band. Not a bad lineup!

I have seen August Burns Red multiple times, and they never disappoint. The energy Jake Luhrs creates while on stage makes the entire crowd bounce. Having seen them before, I knew he likes to swing the microphone around. I waited for the shot and it looked as if he was aiming right for me! Great show.

Concert Review: Ministry @ The Fillmore 5/3/23 — Silver Spring, MD

Ministry and the beloved Uncle Al stopped to perform at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD on 5/3/2023. The band are currently on tour in the US with supporting acts Gary Numan and Front Line Assembly. Of course, being a long-time fan of Ministry, I was there in the photo pit losing my mind. I did my best to keep my composure and take some decent photos while rocking out to one of my favorite bands. I had a blast and my photos turned out well. Ministry sounded tight as ever and the setlist was top notch. Mission accomplished.
