Photo Flashback: Greg Puciato @ Underground Arts 5/22/23 — Philadelphia, PA

The former Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist, Greg Puciato, stopped at Underground Arts in Philly recently in support of his pair of solo albums, with the most recent being 2022’s Mirrorcell. The venue was packed and the anxiety was high. When Puciato hit the stage the crowd exploded. An extremely intense performance in an intimate, hard rock setting.

This was my first time covering a show for Hazy Eye Media and one I will not soon forget. I had a great time and look forward to seeing Greg Puciato again in the future. Photo Flashback: Citizen Cope @ 9:30 Club 5/10/23 — Washington, DC

In this Hazy Eye Media photo flashback we’re taking a trip down memory lane with Citizen Cope at the 9:30 Club in Washington, DC on 5/10/2023. This was a solo acoustic performance by the DC native and one of his most intimate. He recently announced that his latest album, The Victory March, will be dropping this summer. The album has contributions from musicians in The Roots and Paul McCartney’s backing band. Not a bad lineup!

I have seen August Burns Red multiple times, and they never disappoint. The energy Jake Luhrs creates while on stage makes the entire crowd bounce. Having seen them before, I knew he likes to swing the microphone around. I waited for the shot and it looked as if he was aiming right for me! Great show.

Skinny Puppy recently performed at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD and I was there to capture some action. I have been a fan of Skinny Puppy since the early 90s, but this was my first time seeing them perform live. The band are on their final tour so figured I would check them out while I still had the chance.

This was my second time contributing to Hazy Eye Media, and once again I feel grateful for the opportunity. Keb Mo is an amazing “bluesy” singer, songwriter, and guitar player. I have been at The Birchmere several times in the past, but this was my first time seeing Keb Mo.

Soulfly played a killer set at Soundstage in Baltimore, MD on 2/16/23, and luckily I was there in the photo pit for the first three songs. I’m a long-time fan of Max Cavalera. Lost my shit at this show. The band absolutely destroyed the crowd. Brutal heavy metal music at its finest. Much respect.

This was my first time covering a show for Hazy Eye Media and I feel grateful for the opportunity. The venue is a great local hangout and Kids Return played a set full of memorable songs. I had honestly never heard of the band before, but definitely enjoyed the performance and consider them an up-in-coming musical artist.

August Burns Red played the first show of their tour in front of a packed house at The Fillmore in Silver Spring, MD last week. The performance was flawless and the band played a mixture of material spanning a 20 year career. The venue was extremely hot and when the band started to play the heat was almost unbearable. The fans were literally burning up.

Concert Review: They Might Be Giants @ Rams Head Live 12/18/22 — Baltimore, MD

Alternative rock pioneers They Might Be Giants played for a sold out crowd at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD on 12/18/2022. Most of the dates on this tour were sold out, and for good reason. TMBG were celebrating the 40th Anniversary as a band, as well as the release of their 1990 album, Flood. This show honestly felt and sounded like a celebration.

Concert Review: Tenacious D @ The Mann Center 9/11/22 — Philadelphia, PA

The Greatest Band on Earth, the mighty Tenacious D brought their 2022 tour to the TD Pavilion at the Mann Center for the Performing Arts in Philadelphia recently. A steady rain couldn’t stop fans from filling the venue to capacity. The show was livestreamed on nugs.net to raise funds for Rock The Vote. Glad I was able to photograph this performance.
