Nick Sadler 2018 (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Hazy Eye Music Media is proud to post another interview in a series of interviews I’m currently conducting with some of my favorite artists. I’m stepping outside of my comfort zone and have begun picking the brains of some phenomenal musicians. This time I, Andy Jillson, was fortunate enough to interview Nick Sadler aka Nicholas Andrew Sadler.

Sadler is a musical artist most known as the guitarist for experimental rock band Daughters. He has established himself as unique guitar player and intensely passionate and creative musician. Continue reading below for my full interview with Nick Sadler.

Pigface @ Baltimore Soundstage (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Pigface performed at Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, Maryland on November 20, 2019 — and I, Andy Jillson, was there rocking out and taking pictures. This was about my eight or ninth time seeing Pigface live, but undoubtedly the most memorable. I was invited onstage by Martin Atkins to play the drums on his kit for the encore song, “Suck.” Mind-blowing. Surreal. Magical. Continue reading below for full concert review. Dinosaur Jr. performed at Baltimore Soundstage in Baltimore, Maryland on November 18, 2019 — and I, Andy Jillson, was there taking photos and having my ear drums blown out. All three original members of Dinosaur Jr. are out on a fall tour of North American and I was able to score a photo pass despite the obstacles. Continue reading below for full concert review. GWAR @ Rams Head Live (Photo by Andy Jillson)

That’s right kids! GWAR landed at Rams Head Live in Baltimore, MD on September 29, 2019 and bathed the adoring audience in alien blood, semen, and other bodily fluids. I was there in a white painter’s suit taking pictures — slipping and sliding around in the photo pit like a madman; or in this case GWAR’S human slave pit. Ty Segall @ Ottobar (Photo by Andy Jillson)

For this Hazy Eye Music Media “Photo Flashback” post we’ll be taking a trip down memory lane with Ty Segall & White Fence. As a rule, I never miss an opportunity to catch a performance by the prolific garage rocker and rock & roll slave, Ty Segall. On this go around he paid a visit to Ottobar in Baltimore, MD on February 25, 2019 with fellow indie rocker and American singer-songwriter Tim Presley (aka White Fence). The venue wreaked of beer and stale cigarette smoke for this gig (I mean more so than usual). The band were drinking beer, the crew were drinking, and a large majority of the crowd were joining along. Continue reading below for full concert review. Le Butcherettes @ MECU Pavilion (Photo by Andy Jillson)

Le Butcherettes are currently out on a massive summer tour with Devil Makes Three, Flogging Molly, and Social Distortion. The band is extensively touring North American in support of their 4th studio album, bi/MENTAL. Le Butcherettes is a fearless musical force lead by founding member and singer/guitarist/keyboardist Teri Gender Bender. Of course, I was there in the photo pit once again rocking out and taking pictures. As always, Le Butcherettes kicked ass and proved that they are still progressing and are not to be overlooked.
