This show was sold out for a reason. Digable Planets were awesome! Seriously. Wow. I am extremely fortunate to have obtained a photo pass for this show. I dig, Digable Planets. Andy Frasco & The U.N. will be playing at DC’s historic 9:30 Club on February 13, 2020 — and I, Andy Jillson, will be there to document the musical madness. The band’s sound has been described as “feel good blues-rock fueled by reckless abandonment and a disregard for the rules, and witty lyrics to back it all up.” The band’s live performances have been described as a “boisterous blend of harmonic funk and jazzy influences, all topped with boundless energy.”

Yep, in this “Photo Flashback” we’re taking a trip down memory lane with Machine Head — and Abdullah is our guide. All images copyright and courtesy of Abdullah Konte.
