Canadian post-punkish noise-rockers METZ will be performing at Union Stage in DC on December 13, 2021. The band is on the road in support of their newest album, Atlas Vending. This is a must see band and must hear album. Not to mention their entire catalog is fucking amazing! I, along with several other METZ fans, have been anticipating this tour since 2020.

Anyway, tickets for their show at Union Stage can be purchased HERE. Also be sure to check the Official METZ Website for music, videos, merchandise, and tickets for all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for more information. All images copyright and courtesy of Norman Wong.

Human Impact

Human Impact will be performing at Metro Gallery in Baltimore on 11/27/2021. Fuck yeah!!! This is the bands first tour and the anticipation is wonderfully nauseating. They are referred to as a “supergroup” for a damn good reason. The group is comprised of ex-Unsane, Swans, and Cop Shoot Cop members. Whoa!

Anyway, tickets for their show at Metro Gallery are available HERE. Also be sure to check out Human Impact’s bandcamp page. Continue reading below for more information.

In this Hazy Eye Media photo flashback we’re taking a trip down memory lane with Angels & Airwaves. The band is currently on tour in the US in support of their new album, Lifeforms, and I was fortunate enough to see them perform at The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Maryland on 10/15/2021.

Slipknot (Photo by Anthony Scanga)

Well, I was fortunate to see Slipknot twice this year on the Knotfest Roadshow. I made the trip to BB&T Pavilion in Camden, NJ on 10/12/21, and also attended their show at Jiffy Lube Live in Bristow, VA on 10/13/21. Both performances were top notch, but the show in New Jersey was my favorite. The fans in Camden were fuckin’ nuts! The woman in the sit next to mine cried sporadically throughout Slipknot’s entire performance. Intense.

Be sure to check the Official Slipknot Website for music, videos, news, and all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for my full concert review. All images copyright and courtesy of Anthony Scanga. Much gratitude to Costa Nostra PR for making this happen.

Megadeth (Photo by Andy Jillson)

The Metal Tour Of The Year made a second stop while in New Jersey, and I was fortunate enough to be there. Megadeth and Lamb of God collectively blew the minds and eardrums of everyone in attendance. The sound and lighting at this show was amazing. Both heavy metal giants performed flawless sets in a beautiful amphitheater. This was my third time seeing the tour. Overall, I would say this was the best performance by both bands. Heavy metal gold.

Anyway, be sure to check out the Official Megadeth Website & Official Lamb of God Website for music, news, videos, merch, and all upcoming tour dates. Continue reading below for more photos from their performances in Holmdel, NJ on 9/16/21. All images copyright and courtesy of Andy Jillson.

Dropkick Murphys played a high energy set at The Mann Center in Philadelphia, PA earlier this week. The band were performing with fellow rockers Rancid on their Boston to Berkley II tour. I made the drive to Philly from Silver Spring, MD to cover this musical event, and I was not disappointed. The band performed a flawless set of their signature sounding tunes. Well worth the drive.

Anyway, Dropkick Murphys are still on a co-headlining tour with Rancid. Tickets for the Boston to Berkley II tour can be purchased at www.DropkickMurphys.com or www.RancidRancid.com.
