It was a beautiful day for Major League Rugby; however, home team Old Glory DC were defeated by the visiting Toronto Arrows (40-19). The victory, at Segra Field in Leesburg, VA on 4/3/21, was the Arrows’ first of the season. Not the outcome DC was hoping for, but it was a well-played match by Toronto.

The Toronto Arrows played hard and definitely earned their first win of the MLR 2021 season. This was the Arrows’ first victory since March 1, 2020, when they beat Rugby ATL 28-18. Old Glory DC opened their 2021 season with a 26-26 tie at NOLA Gold before defeating Rugby ATL 30-23.

This was another limited-capacity/socially-distanced sporting event. Everyone in attendance appeared to be following all the safety protocols and were more than respectful. Old Glory DC is committed to maintaining a safe environment for everyone attending matches at Segra Field. Prior to attending a match at Segra Field, please review the Segra Field health and safety protocols. Click HERE for Old Glory DC’s 2021 Match Schedule.
